Scientific Research and E-Learning Workshop to Be Held on 26-28 May 2017
TU-PNC, 25 May 2017 – The Institute of Science and Technology (IOST) under Prithvi Narayan Campus has organized the “Scientific Research and E-Learning Workshop” on 26-28 May 2017 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) for 3 days.
According to the Coordinator of the program Prof. Dr. Akkal Dev Mishra, the main purpose of the workshop is to promote discussion among faculty members on research and e-learning knowledge. There will be paper presentations, group discussions and question-answer sessions, he added.
Experts will present their discussion papers on different aspects of research and e-learning. Prof. Dr. Akkal Dev Mishra will present his paper on “Scientific Paper/Article Writing, Collaboration and Edition,” Dr. Ram Jeewan Yadav on “Scientific Research Methdology, Federated Searching, Citation and E-Learning,” Prof. Dr. Vikash Kumar KC on “Research Data Collection, Interpretation & Dissemination” and Mr. Padam Raj Pant of Kathmandu University on “Use of Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)/Moodle”.
During the workshop, Prof. Dr. Chandra Bahadur Thapa will be the panel chair, and Hut Raj Sharma of Chemical Science, Ram Gopal Dhewajoo of Biological Sciences, Kishor Kumar Pokhrel of Biological Sciences, Dr. Tank Raj Adhikari of Statistics & Mathematical Sciences, and Kul Prasad Dahal of Physical Sciences will as facilitators.
There will be participants of faculty members from Dept of Chemistry, Dept of Physics, Dept of Zoology, Dept of Botany & Microbiology, Dept of Statistics, Dept of Mathematics and BSc CSIT program. Participants have to register their names to attend the workshop. Per head registration fee is 1000 rupees.
The workshop will be held in the seminar hall (Room No. 125) of Science Laboratory Building with the premises of Prithvi Narayan Campus.
