Governing Body

The governing body of PN Campus has a rich history of service to the development of higher education in the western region. The campus is led by the Campus Chief, which is accountable to the management committee and executive committee for the day to day affairs of the campus, and helps the campus meet its mission and vision. Faculties and departments manage academic programs, while administrative offices and divisions manage the administrative functions of the institution.

Management Committee
The campus is governed by the management committee which is the supreme body of the campus that assists the campus to achieve its goals of providing higher education to the people of the western region and surrounding areas. The committee is the governing board and policy-making body for the campus, which plays an unusually active role in the campus governance.

The committee is the principal governing body of the campus. The current management committee consist of the following individuals:

Executive Committee

The executive committee, under the management committee, is formed under the chairmanship of the Campus Chief. The committee will set policies and processes for the overall operational management of the campus.

Providing advice to the Campus Chief on matters of strategic and operational significance, the primary role of the executive committee is to define and focus on the strategic direction of the campus in line with the Tribhuvan University Act 2049 (1992) and prioritise operational decisions according to this framework. The committee frequently meets throughout the year and occasionally in special session. The current committee comprises of the following senior executives:

3. Member - Mr. Hari Prasad Subedi, Dept. Head

Campus Authorities
The following top officials look after both everyday academic and non-academic affairs of the campus. They are also responsible for overall supervision, monitoring and evaluation of faculty members, administrative staff and students.
