The 6-Day Seminar/Workshop on Quality Research Methodology Concludes Today

TU-PNC, 29 March 2018 – The 6-day “Seminar/Workshop on Quality Research Methodology” organized by Dept of English Education, Prithvi Narayan Campus successfully concluded on 28 March 2018.

The seminar/workshop was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Mana Prasad Wagley of Kathmandu University and Associate Professor Dr. Peshal Khanal of Central Department of Education, Tribhuvan University.

The seminar/workshop was inaugurated by Campus Chief Prof. Dr. Chandra Bahadur Thapa as chief guest. Launching a new issued of the academic journal published by M.Ed. (English) students at the inaugural session, Dr Thapa said that qualitative research is important to today’s society as well as the scholarly community. “It’s a way to support faculty members in their academic development in order to ultimately improve students’ learning” he added.  

At the same inaugural session, Assistant Campus Chiefs Cholakanta Ojha and Homa Nath Poudel wished the success of the seminar/workshop.  

The closing ceremony was attended by Assistant Campus Chief Nanda Lal Adhikari as chief guest. He said that skills on quality research methodology will be fruitful to the faculty members of the campus.

At the same ceremony, facilitator Dr. Khanal expressed his happiness over active participation of the faculty members of the campus, adding that he could share his skills and knowledge with the colleagues at Prithvi Narayan Campus.  

On behalf of the participants, Krishna Kumari Pahari and Pitamber Gautam spoke a few words, expressing the importance of attending the program like this.

The seminar/workshop was attended by 40 faculty members from different departments of Prithvi Narayan Campus.

The 6-day seminar/workshop was chaired by Dept Head Prof. Tirth Raj Aryal and hosted by Dr. Naba Raj Neupane.
