Blood Donation Camp Organized by BBA Students

TU-PNC, 5 April 2017 – In association with the Nepal Red Cross Society Kaski, on 21 January 2017, the students of BBA final semester organized a blood donation camp within the campus premises. Both faculty and students of BBA program donated a total of 44 unit blood during the event.

The blood donation camp was chaired by Pradip Poudel and coordinated by Manoj Sapkota. It was inaugurated by Assistant Campus Chief of Management and the Chief Guest of the camp Bir Bahadur Karki by handing over the blood bag to the first blood donator Ramchandra Tripathi.

Speaking about the role of the youths towards the nation building tasks, Chief Guest Karki told that this was part of our students’ initiative to increase awareness about the importance of blood donation. “Blood donation is one of the most significant contributions that a person can make towards the society, he further said.

Similarly, another Assistant Campus Chief Bishwo Raj Adhikari, a Professor of English, said that our students donated blood because they believe in supporting the importance of participation in social initiatives.

Welcome speech was delivered by Manoj Sapkota who was the Coordinator of the program and the program was run by Ramchandra Tripathi.

The event was also participated by the faculty, students and administrative staff of the campus.

The Chief Guest Karki also handed over the certificates of appreciation to blood donators and volunteers of the camp.

While concluding the camp, Pradip Poudel, the Chairperson, thanked the blood donators, staff of Nepal Red Cross Society Kaski, volunteers and guests for making the camp a grand success.
