Inter-University Co-Curricular Collaboration Program Held

TU-PNC, 1 August 2016 – The inter-university co-curricular collaboration program held on 28 July 2016 at the Faculty of Law, Prithvi Narayan Campus, which was jointly organized by the BALLB Program at Prithvi Narayan Campus and the Kathmandu School of Law of Purbanchal University.

The team from the Kathmandu School of Law included Program Convener Prof. Geeta Pathak Sangraula, Unit Coordinator Prof. Kapil Shrestha and the Project Secretary Mr. Bhisma Sangraula

The aim of the collaboration program is to build a fruitful and reciprocal relationship between the Kathmandu School of Law and the Faculty of Law, Prithvi Narayan Campus, the Program Convener Prof. Geeta Pathak Sangraula said.

Highlighting about the collaboration program, Prof. Pathak Sangraula added that the relationship between the two institutions will benefit the flourishing multicultural learning environment for the law students.

The program had two sessions: the first was an interaction between two institutions and the second was an orientation given to the students of law. The orientation program was on the topic “Relationship between International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law” and was given by Prof. Pathak Sangraula.

At the same program, the team donated 9 books and 5 journals to the Faculty of Law at Prithvi Narayan Campus. The team also handed over a journal and a pen as gifts to the Head of Dept of Civil & Constitutional Law Krishna Bahadur Gurung and the Head of Dept of Criminal & International Law Hari Subedi of the Faculty of Law, Prithvi Narayan Campus.  

The first session program was participated by Assistant Campus Chief Basanta Parajuli, BALLB Program Director Lal Bahadur Kunwar, Dept Heads Krishna Bahadur Gurung and Hari Subedi, and Faculty members at the Faculty of Law, Prithvi Narayan Campus. The second session was participated by the students of law.
